Busy Busy Busy

They love to play in a crib together
Aly in the tunnel

Aly and Sean went on a walk

Where can I start!? Things have been pretty busy at the Campbell household with work, three little kiddos and their birthdays. Sean's going to be three tomorrow and we are gearing up for the birthday party on Sat. The three cakes have been ordered, one is for the party at the daycare (Lightning McQueen design with whipped cream), a chocolate cream cake and twins mash up cake for Saturday. Tomorrow, I am planning to take a day off (hopefully my boss approves) so that I can get ready for the party.

In the meantime, it snowed in Bellevue overnight. It's melted mostly but I didn't not expect to see more snow after the sunny weather in 50s on Saturday. Speaking of crazy... Miss Alyson for the past 4 day had refused to nap in the afternoon and she insisted of staying up from noon to 9:30 pm in the evening. Thank goodness, she finally decided to sleep again today. I am keeping my fingers crossed that she'll do this again tomorrow!

Alyson's such a mischief these days, picking on his brother Noah all the time. She'll first look at the responsible adult nearby first before going over to pull Noah's hair. Poor Noah gets pinned to the ground because Alyson pulls his hair down with such force. Or she'll suddenly takes her bottle out of her mouth and looks at me and intentionally spills milk on the carpet by turning the bottle upside down (she self-feeds by the way). I will tell you, this girl we have to keep an eye on all the time. What are we going to do when she's a teen?

Noah's found his voice and uses it well to get attention. He's sweet most of the time though so we'll still keep him :) Sean's been working hard on the potty business and I got a call from the daycare lady that Sean has pooped in the potty today. That boy like to do business standing and I thought he would invent a toilet that let people poop standing someday. The other day, since he went peeepee in the toilet three times, he has gotten a surprise present. He was so proud and happy to get a little surprise. It's slow but definitely getting there.

Happy Birthday Twins!

My my... where does the time go!? The twins turned one on Wednesday! With all they accomplished though it's no wonder they are one. They were red and skinny preemies once but now are smiley and bouncy toddlers who are full of life. We are so blessed to have you and very excited to see you grow!

I made cupcakes for them and we sang happy birthday. They made a big mess with the cake, of course, but they enjoyed it very much! Brother Sean helped open their presents from Nana, Pinky and Grandma. They were busy for a while playing with the new toys and books. Thank you, Pinky, Nana and Grandma for cute books and character stuffed toys.

From Mommy and Daddy, Aly and Noah have gotten a long tunnel where they can crawl in and out. It's a big hit for everyone, including Sean. They play with it every night, giggling and sometimes fighting over it.

Lazy Friday

Noah window lickin'

Alyson with an angel wing (it's actually a hanger -- how did she put it on? I don't know!)

Today, I am feeling very lazy. I normally have a meal prepared by now but just cannot part my behind from the chair. I guess there are days like this and besides it's Friday.

During my lunch time, I went to check out a Montessori school for Sean near my house. They are a small school nested in the first floor of someone's house but they were surprisingly nice and seem to be sincerely passionate about their method. The children were well behaved and wondered is Sean would fit in in the quiet environment like that. He is an independent child and Montessori philosophy may actually work for him. I have several other schools to tour so we'll see how they are like.

Alyson likes to throw her favorite little red ball around the living room. She'll throw it, clap, and chase it. She'll do this for a very long time. She'll also actually play 'catch' as well rolling the ball towards me and me rolling it back to her. I have to get her involved in some sports involving a ball.

Trying to find a gym class where all three kids can participate. I thought it would be nice to have a fun family time taking a class together and thought it might help with the kids to bond.

A lot to do and think --

Alyson bigger than Noah

Daddy's little princess

Look, Noah's shorter than me, Mommy!

Sean and Mommy at the Crossroad Park -- it was pretty cold!

Daddy with Aly and Sean

We've noticed recently that Alyson has grown quite a bit and now much bigger than her brother Noah. Noah is still a little chubbier than Alyson but he may look that way because he is shorter. Little Noah looks so cute perched against the window sills or by the couch. He's standing all the time now that he can pull up. He's learned to get down but sometimes still scared of falling.

We cannot believe it is February already! We have all (so far) the kids' birthday this month and therefore pretty busy. We've decided to have a combined birthday party at the end of the month (yes, we'll do one party thing until we can get away with it).

Hope everyone had a nice Superbowl weekend. We had Chris' family over and all the kids played hard. Alyson loved Katrina and she was following her around everywhere! Sean and Alex are good friends and they played with the house full of boy toys the whole time. Mike had a good time kicking back and making noises.

Baby# 4 is doing well. I had a glucose and iron level test and both came back normal. My tummy is getting pretty big and moving around is becoming difficult. The little girl does not like when I sit and she keeps kicking and squirming. No name yet! We have to start narrowing it down. Considering we have to come up with only one name this time, it shouldn't be too hard.
